Jose Carratala

Jose Carratalá is a Manchester-based typeface designer and design director at Undo & Redo studio. He graduated in Graphic Design from the Murcia College of Design in Spain. He first began his career working for multiple design studios in both Murcia and later in London. After 15 years, in 2019, he further pursued a specialisation in typography, and he graduated with an MA in Typeface Design at the University of Reading, UK. 
Following his participation in an ATypI conference, he initiated his new professional career, taking on lettering assignments for numerous brands and working as a type advisor. With a multiscript approach, his work is focused on Greek and Latin. In recent years, he has been developing his own typefaces and publishing them through various foundries.
