Kyle Mono
Details
Kyle Mono is a non proportional, monoline serif font family. It is a sibling to the font family Kyle, that changes its character with increasing weight. Kyles and Kyle Monos glyphs have sharp, triangular serifs that gain momentum as the weight grows, becoming almost slab-like.
Both families have a quirky style - friendly, accessible and yet very individual, supporting legibility and expression.
Kyle Mono has a slightly less extensive character set than Kyle, but still it counts over 820 glyphs and supports Eastern European languages as well as Central- and Western European languages. It also contains a number of practical symbols, often adjusted to add interest by playing with the monospace rule.
On the practical side, Kyle-Mono is great for use in coding, flight arrival displays, comparing amino acids or writing dadaist poetry. On a more expressive level, it offers us its own specific, edgy design-flavour.
