Area JP is the Latin+Japanese (Kana) support of Area Font Family. Supporting both Horizontal and Vertical writing system.

Area is a variable geometric font family that takes inspiration from architecture. Like any piece of architecture, the design process of Area started with a stable modular geometrical structure. Once the foundations are laid, its envelope slowly unfolds into a more quiet neogrotesque robe, offering a solid base for any reading experience thanks to its smooth grey.

Area は、建築から着想を得た可変ジオメトリック・フォントファミリーです。建築と同様に、そのデザインプロセスは、安定したモジュール構造という幾何学的な基盤から始まりました。基礎が築かれるにつれて、フォルムは次第に静かでニュートラルなネオグロテスクへと展開していきます。滑らかなグレートーンにより、あらゆる読書体験に適した、確かな可読性を提供します。
