Brian Dove

Brian Dove is a multidisciplinary designer based in Bloomery, West Virginia. Brian’s exploration into type design stemmed from his logo design and branding practice at Big Fog, a design studio he operates with creative partner Valerie Burgess. Brian's type design practice is rooted in expressive display type informed equally by historical reference and contemporary graphic design. When not designing typefaces, Brian can be found making Risograph prints, writing music, or working in his vegetable garden. Brian's typefaces can be found through Blaze Type and Big Fog.
